I like to read sci fi books and this is a good one. Strong central characters and a page turning story line make me want to read more like this

An excellent read, well fleshed out, international intrigues against a near future back ground

Great world-building, great characters. I enjoyed the cinematic feel of this book, moving scene from one character to another. If you like Megan O’Keefe’s The Blighted Stars, you’ll enjoy this even though it’s not set anywhere else but Earth. The concept of an inhabited Antarctica is made very believable and the story picks up speed and just keeps going.

Again main character focus is on existing side characters from previous books. Don’t worry, all the old ones still pop into the story. It’s a bit more of a detective/crime novel since this time we see a lot from DI Enya Zhao - a personal favourite of mine. With great plot twists it continues with the political intrigue theme of first two books. And it has the added bonus of exploring a different part of the AFS than previous books too.
