About

Caroline Corfield always wanted to write. Sometimes the need to make a living gets in the way. Usually not for long. She’s written since secondary school – short stories, poems and articles, affidavits, reviews and Art Bollocks. The more free time she’s found the more she’s kept at the writing. Special thanks go to the English Department of Clydebank High School for getting her started, her many paramours for inspiration, her HEFC English tutor, Kathleen Kenny for her course, Angie Stanger-Leathes and Roger Harvey for their courses, Ken McLeod, John Jarrold and James Roberston for advice and being open to approach, to her tutors and fellow students in the online MA in creative writing at Hull University and the the BSFA editors for choosing to publish short stories she wrote in a traditionally published book!

Of course none of it would have been possible without her parents, Carol and Robert Orr, two people who understood that love was the most important thing in the world.
